We were born to accelerate global energy transition with high-performance sustainable fuels.
Business
We were born to accelerate global energy transition with high-performance sustainable fuels. Our innovation ecosystem consists of three strategic assets: the Acelen Agripark innovation center, macauba farms, and a fuel biorefinery. Together, they complete a cycle of sustainable biofuel production from beginning to end.
Acelen Agripark
Acelen AgriPark is the world’s largest and most modern innovation center designed for macauba and it brings together research, technology, and sustainability. Located in Montes Claros (state of Minas Gerais), it develops protocols for germination, seedling production, experimental crops, and automated processes to increase productivity and reduce losses.
With a pilot plant for oil extraction and coproducts, AgriPark marks a decisive step toward transforming macauba into a renewable energy source for the future.

Biorefinery
With state-of-the-art technology, Acelen Renewables’ biorefinery will be built to contribute to global decarbonization.
The unit will use internationally recognized HEFA (Hydroprocessed Esters and Fatty Acids) technology to produce sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and renewable diesel (HVO).
HEFA technology will enable the efficient processing of renewable vegetable oils and will follow the highest standards of excellence, safety, and environmental care, ensuring high quality, operational flexibility, and competitiveness in premium renewable fuel markets.
Located in Bahia, the biorefinery will have a production capacity of 1 billion liters of renewable fuels per year.
This milestone puts Brazil and Bahia on the path to global energy transition.

Macauba farms
Acelen Renewables’ macauba farms are a milestone in building a sustainable future. In Cachoeira (state of Bahia), we have implemented the first unit dedicated to the cultivation of this species using cutting-edge technologies and agronomic practices that conserve the soil and the environment.
This advance reaffirms our commitment to energy transition and to valuing Brazilian biodiversity.
